Sometimes people wake up and they look more tired than they were when they went to bed. One of the things that can lead to the appearance that you are tired is bags under your eyes. There are many different bags under eyes causes, most of which can be fixed with minimal work.

Having baggy eyes is one of the most common things for people to see when they wake up from sleeping. These bags make people look older and more tired than they really are. This problem can start when people are relatively young, when they are in their 20s and 30s, and will progressively get worse if the bags under eyes causes are not taken care of as soon as possible.

These dark spots will usually start out small and get worse with time. They may be barely visible at first and without treatment may become a full bag. People may wonder what the bags under eyes causes are. Unfortunately, these bags are the result of the natural aging process. As a person ages the ligaments that hold small fat pouches under the eyes weaken and allow these bags to protrude. As time goes on the puffiness increases and the bags become larger.

The main contribution to these bags is heredity, so if your mother and father have droops under their eyes it is likely that you will develop them at some point as well. One other thing that can contribute to these bags are clogged sinuses. When there is pressure built up in the sinuses of your face these bags become larger and more prominent. To help decrease this you may want to start sleeping with an extra pillow under your head. This can help the sinuses drain during the night and will reduce the size of these areas.
